This is the largest hot air balloon festival in ASEAN with over 30 creatively designed balloons from 14 countries putting on a grand performance in the skies of Chiang Rai. The skills of the participating world-class pilots can also be appreciated as they compete in different categories.
There is even a Balloon Night Glow performance to keep you occupied in the evenings, with plenty of vivid lighting, colour and sound. The fiesta also offers a food festival and an exclusive live concert from famous ballad singers.
