The NFT collection features artwork depicting classic KFC moments. There are 11 NFTs in total – an obvious tribute to the branch’s 11 secret herbs and spices – that were made by three Malaysian artists.
The collection consists of four Together Editions artwork by Wilson Ng, four Moving Fried Chicken artwork by Book of Lai, and three Generations artwork by Arif Rafhan.
8 of the NFTs were bidding on OpenSea with the starting price of each NFT at 0.08 ETH (≈RM834). On May 12, the remaining three works, one from each collection, were presented to the lucky winners of the KFC Malaysia Instagram contest.
Proud owners of KFC’s NFTs will also get a RM20 KFC voucher every month for an entire year through a promo code sent via their MetaMask wallet.
