The Singapore Ant Museum is situated in a quaint shophouse at Upper Paya Lebar Road. Zat Low, who transformed his love of insects into a two-story museum filled with exhibitions, interactive displays, and works of art related to ants. Here, visitors will discover a never-before-seen world of ants and gain a better understanding of the creatures through 50 different native species and some 25 intricately designed formicariums or ant farms.

The first floor of the museum is decorated with many paintings and artwork inspired by ants. Especially works such as zen garden, a golden music box, and even a depiction of the Garden of Eden, etc. are made by Zat Low to interpret his personal reflections through the life of ants.

The second floor houses a variety of ant species, sourced from various “secret spots” around Singapore. Visitors can observe the daily activities of ants, learn new knowledge about ants, and explore the ways to raise and care for these strange “pets”. After visitors finish their visit, they will be given their very own starter kit so they can experience the process of ant farming on their own.
