The festival is a pioneer of its kind in the Southeast Asian festival scene with elements such as arts, fashion and food in its forefront alongside the music. The event features many genres of music, including pop, rock, indie, hip hop and electronic dance music.
Since its first edition in 2014, the festival has been graced by some of the biggest and most eclectic acts in the world including Ellie Goulding, Mark Ronson, The 1975, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Flight Facilities, The Temper Trap, Kimbra, Jessie Ware, and Echosmith amongst many.

Besides the music, various entertainment activities and installations are scattered throughout the festival, showcasing the very best of Southeast Asian culture, arts, fashion and food.

After a pause due to the Covid-19 pandemic, We The Fest is back this year, from September 23-25.
