As riders, we know how important it is to color-match your gear and bike. So rather than creating animations in certain colors, the producer created an algorithm that allows you to set all the animations to any color you wish.

The Night Shift has a built-in microphone. Play your favorite tunes and watch your helmet groove to the music.

Figuring out how to diffuse LED light in a tiny space while still being flexible, and water-resistant was a challenge that took about 6 months to crack. That was the “easy” part. The hard part was affordably automating the manufacturing process on a large scale to bring this project to the world.

The R&D around manufacturing design took many rounds of prototyping and experimental tooling. An extensive list of materials was tested until finding out the perfect properties for manufacturing while still being flexible, transparent, and able to withstand UV light since this will primarily be used outdoors.

To ensure a universal fit, it was test-fitted our prototypes on many helmets such as the Ruroc Atlas, Icon Airflite, AGV Pista, Arai Vector 2, Simpson Bandit, Sedici Strada II, Shoei RF-1200, Nexx XR2, AGV K5, AGV K3, and more.

You can test-fit before you buy by printing out a PDF template of the Night Shift. Simply cut out the shapes and place them on your helmet.
