1. Siam Amazing Park, Bangkok, Thailand

First opened in 1980, Siam Amazing Park (formerly known as Siam Park City or Suansiam) remains as one of the oldest amusement and water parks in the entire Southeast Asia. But that doesn’t mean the rides here are slow and steady.

There’s a total of five different zones: Water Park, X-Zone, Family World, Fantasy World, and Small World. With that many options, you’re bound to find some that’ll get your adrenaline pumping.

The Water Zone itself holds an award from Guinness World Records for its Wave Pool that was certified as the world’s largest in 2009.

2. Wild Wild Wet, Singapore

Located at Pasir Ris, Wild Wild Wet at Downtown East offers a variety of rides and attractions that will either have you screaming your lungs sore or relaxing in the water.

Its inspiration is very obviously based on the local culture in Singapore, with fun and cheeky attraction names like “Ular-Lah” and “Shiok River.”

The water park has a total of 16 attractions! With that many, you’re bound to find something that will get your blood pumping.

3. Dunia Fantasi, Jakarta, Indonesia

Also known locally as “DuFan,” Dunia Fantasi (which means Fantasy World) calls itself a “physics edutainment area” in Jakarta.

The theme park takes guests on a journey around the world through 8 regions in its park: Indonesia, Jakarta, Asia, Europe, America, Greece, Saga, and Kalila.

With various, but not limited to, bumper cars, giant swing ride, and the “Hysteria” vertical thrill ride, there are plenty of on-land activities for people to enjoy at this theme park.

4. Enchanted Kingdom, Manila, Philippines

Enchanted Kingdom is undoubtedly the most popular theme park in the Philippines. It’s located in the southern part of Manila in Santo Rosa, Laguna. Although it’s not exactly Disneyland, this theme park is still guaranteed to provide a fun time.

From interactive motion theaters, live attractions to iconic thrilling rides, there’s really something for everyone at Enchanted Kingdom.

5. Dream World, Bueng Yitho, Thailand

Located just outside of Bangkok in the Pathum Thani province, Dream World is filled with fun rides and plenty of Instagrammable spots! Whether you’re there with your partner, with your friends or with your kids, there are plenty of attractions available at this theme park.

Although there isn’t as many hair-raising rides compared to the other theme parks and water parks on this list, Dream World definitely still has iconic roller coasters and water rides.

There’s also various photo opportunities to be had among the sights and street parade, as well as the cute mascots that can be found around the park.
