Situ Gunung Suspension Bridge, the 80-ton bridge made of merbau wood was officially opened on March 9. First constructed in the mid of 2017, the process of constructing the bridge was done manually without any heavy machinery by involving locals and bridge experts from Bandung.

Safety equipment is provided at the entrance gate. Equipped with a hook, the belt can be attached to the handrail in case of turbulence. A staff member is on standby in the middle area to help people cross the bridge.

The suspension bridge is actually only one among several attractions lacated nearby, such as Sawer Waterfall which is only 1 km away by walking, also the already-popular Situ Gunung Lake.
