This event has been held annually since 2008 at the turtle island paradise of Koh Tao and is caters specifically for those who enjoy psychedelic trance music. The Experience Festival’s tagline is “Four days of Love, Peace, Trance and Dance”, and it has become a highlight on the hippie calendar.
The event takes place at ‘The Magic Garden’ located on the top of a hill on the way to Sai Nuan beach, which offers a beautiful view of the sea at sunrise and sunset.
The festival ground comprises of a main stage and a ‘chill floor’ for anyone needing a little downtime, and significant efforts are made to create backdrops and décor that fit with the theme. Large paintings, immersive 3D environments, and stretch fabrics combine with some artistic sculptural elements and clever lighting to create mesmerising effects.
Music and dance take place throughout the 4-day event. The event brings together many famous local and international DJs, with dancers and live performers taking turns around the festival.

The event does not sell individual tickets for each day, but only tickets for the full four-day experience. Participants can purchase tickets online through the Experience Festival website or through a few shops on Koh Tao and Koh Phangan.
