Founded in 2010 by Nadiem Makarim, Kevin Aluwi, and Michaelangelo Moran, Gojek has grown from a small motorcycle taxi call center with only 20 ojek drivers to become the leading technology conglomerate in Indonesia and Southeast Asia as a whole.

Gojek operates by providing a platform where drivers and passengers can efficiently connect, allowing drivers to improve their income. Gojek is also a pioneer in the multi-application ecosystem model. As of May 2018, the app offered 18 services, with 2 new services set to launch in online content, totaling 20 on-demand services on one platform.

Gojek has presence in over 200 cities, providing more than 20 convenience services for ride-hailing, payments, food ordering, and more. In 2023, Gojek partnered with restaurant partners, bringing added value to its partners.

Gojek also organized several workshops to share beneficial solutions with business partners to alleviate their concerns in online business operations. 2023 was evaluated as a challenging period for the global economy, posing many challenges for businesses in various sectors, and the F&B industry was no exception. However, collaborating with online food ordering apps like Gojek can open up many development opportunities for restaurants, eateries, especially small and micro businesses.

With its current achievements and operational scale, Gojek is not only a leading technology conglomerate in the Southeast Asian region but also a reliable partner, providing strong support for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the F&B sector.
