New Year celebrations in Singapore are an unforgettable affair, as fireworks illuminate our city’s iconic skyline and festivities fill our bustling streets. While you’ll be able to soak in year-end celebrations all across our island, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown is one of the city’s largest celebrations. 

Breath-taking firework displays are a staple during Singapore’s New Year’s countdowns, and this year’s celebration pulls out all the stops. At this monumental event, thousands of people flocked to the Merlion Park, Marina Barrage, Garden by the Bay … and started to join the countdown atmosphere.

The main activity area will be “transformed” into the perfect place for coundown, and the seating and floating areas will all be opened to provide a fireworks viewing experience at the forefront. From start to midnight, the area will be open for free so that all participants can experience a picnic with family and friends and watch a sparkling fireworks show.
