AT&S has invested over 1 billion euros in the AT&S Campus at the Kulim Hi-Tech Park. This significant investment is expected to transform Malaysia’s economy, creating over 6,000 high-quality job opportunities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI); and Mr. Haim Hilman Bin Abdullah, State Council Member for Industry and Investment, Education, Higher Education, Science, Technology, and Innovation.
Mr. Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of MITI, emphasized: “The semiconductor industry holds great economic and strategic significance for Malaysia, especially in the current geopolitical context.”
Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman, CEO of the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA), stressed: “AT&S’s advanced IC substrates manufacturing activities will certainly expand our Electrical and Electronics industry, strengthening Malaysia’s position as a major manufacturing hub for the industry across Asia.”
