Location and Opening Hours

Hell’s Museum is located at Haw Par Villa, 262 Pasir Panjang Road, Singapore. The museum is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 6 pm. The entrance fee for Hell’s Museum is 18 Singapore dollars ($13) for adults and 10 Singapore dollars ($7.29) for children.

Note: Admission to Haw Par Villa is free.

Exploring Hell’s Museum

Hell’s Museum, with the goal of explaining the origins of10 Courts of Hell at Haw Par Villa, depicts the experiences of a person after death. Accordingly, when a person dies, they will go to the hell court and meet King Yama. King Yama will look at each person’s past life to judge whether they go to heaven or hell. Those who are evil will be banished to hell and will be punished according to the sins they committed in life.

“Our goal is for Haw Par Villa to be reinvigorated as the heritage gem it truly is, by incorporating new, compelling content to complement the folklore and philosophy behind the park’s array of over 1,000 statues and 150 dioramas,” said Jeya Ayadurai
