This island is surrounded by two beaches on either side and has clear water on all its four ends. This place, which is filled with romantic vibes, has tourists coming from all parts of the world, especially China, Taiwan, Korea, and other major parts of Asia.

Ranked as the second-best island in the year 2013, Boracay has rapidly grown to become one of the top tourist destinations in the Philippines.

White Beach

White Beach is the main beach of Boracay, boasting dreamy sunsets, tropical surroundings, and soft powdery white sand. The 4km long beach is divided into 3 sections, Boat Station 1, 2, and 3. Station 1 has luxury resorts, Station 2 is lined with eccentric cafes, well-lit nightclubs, and quirky restaurants, while Station 3 is quieter. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

In addition to that, not only is the white powdery sand ideal for relaxing and rejuvenate, but also the ocean water is ideal for swimming. Besides, it also facilitates other adventure sports and activities like scuba diving, snorkeling and paragliding etc.

Bulabog Beach

Located on the eastern coast, a few metres away from the touristy White Beach, Bulabog is another one of the pristine beaches in Boracay that has just a fraction of tourists and remains secluded for most part of the year. Compared to the other beaches in the area, the beach only has a handful of shacks and establishments. Blessed with coarser grains of white sands, the shores are narrower and are flanked by pretty coconut palms. However there are a number of bamboo huts and platforms where you can relax, reflect and spend some quality time in utter tranquility.

Besides the beach is known for being a kite surfers paradise. Especially thronged by solitude seekers and nature lovers, the beach boasts of utter calm and perfect ocean winds. It also offers perfect sunsets where the clear skies turn orange purple when the sun sets in the indigo blue horizon. There are also several kite surfing schools on the beach and attracts a lot of kite surfing enthusiasts. In addition to that, you can also enjoy boat tours and several other adventure sports here. The beach is however not ideal for swimming because of the presence of seaweed and strong winds.

Zipline

Once you are done with island hopping and relaxing on the beautiful beaches, give in to your adventure cravings and try your hand at the adrenaline pumping Zip Lining activity. The activity requires the volunteers to be tied down a harness while they descent down a cable which charges down from a height of about 100 meters. Aside from crazy fun and thrill, you will also enjoy spectacular views of the white sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and lugh green hills on your ride downwards. You can register on any one of the several organizing centres to enjoy the activity.

Zorbing

Zorbing is another one of the exciting activities available in Boracay that requires the participants to roll down a hill in a plastic orb. The most exciting part about zorbing is that while one person is inside the ball rolling down the hill slope, the other friends wait downhill to be run over by the ball. The activity is supremely fun and extremely thrilling. Loved by both kids and adults, you can register with any of the adventure activity organizing groups to try it out when you are here.
