Autokid Trucks Solutions (founded by Kevin McHale Yao, Marvin Tiu Lim and Eric Lim) started to breathe new life into the auto industry by buying and selling used cars online.

In 2014, seeing the truck sales growing, Autokid seized the opportunity and switched its main business from used vehicles to surplus trucks. This change led to a partnership to form Autokid Subic Trading Corporation (ASTC) in 2015, allowing Autokid to convert the trucks it acquired from Japan with customers. And in 2016, ASTC became the 3rd largest truck conversion center in Subic, just 1 year after its inception.

In 2018, Autokid ventured with completely new trucks. In 2019, Autokid became the first distributor of Dongfeng. Autokid also strengthens its after-sales service offering by establishing Truckstop: Autokid Parts & Accessories and Service Care.

Today, Autokid Truck Solutions operates primarily in Subic and is headquartered in Quezon City with over 400 employees and 17 branches nationwide (Isabela, Dagupan, Subic, Pampanga, Guguinto Bulacan, Quezon City, EDSA, Cavite, Batangas City, Lipa, Oas Albay, Naga, Tacloagayan, De Oroilo, and Cavigayan).

According to the Financial Times’s announcement on the fastest growing companies, in 2018, the company’s revenue was 13.50 million USD, and by 2021 it has increased to 31.38 million USD, reaching an absolute growth rate of 117.4% with a compound annual growth rate of 29.5%, becoming the car trading company with the highest growth rate in Southeast Asia.
