Malapascua – the small Philippine resort island is the only place in Southeast Asia that has a long-finned shark-watching tour – a dangerous species that lives in the waters around Malapascua Island and is quite small in size, only about 3m.

Like other animals, the fish is also many other parasites outside the body. Coincidentally, the area around Monad Shoal is the home of many fish flock – a fish that "cleans" the parasites on the body of larger marine life. Besides, around the sinking island of Monad Shoal always hides deep waters with a large amount of sardines.

Therefore, the area has become an ideal habitat for this sharks when both have abundant food sources, and close to the area "public baths" that it frequents. Every morning, sharks visit the Monad Shoal island to "wash" or soothing.

Since 1999, the Monad Shoal island area has become an ideal destination for those who want to admire the power and majesty of the "lord" of the ocean.

Every morning, you only need to take a boat to this area and dive to the bottom of the sea to observe that particular shark. People also do not need to use lures or iron cages protected by sharks only come here for the purpose of "bathing" so often behave quite meekly if not teased.
