After successfully hosting over 2,200 dogs since its launch in April 2021, the Royal Albatross now includes cats in its services. The trips last two and a half hours along the resort island of Sentosa, ending with a short fireworks display.
To ensure safety and comfort for cats, the Royal Albatross has created separate “cat-bana” cages with sea views. Meanwhile, their owners can enjoy a four- or seven-course dinner on board.
Unlike dogs, cats will not be fed on board. Instead, the Royal Albatross has partnered with PetCubes to provide a goody bag containing a gourmet cat dinner that the cats can enjoy at home, in line with their usual feeding routine.
The goal of the Royal Albatross is to create an experience that connects families and their pets, while emphasizing responsible pet ownership. They believe that more can be done to integrate cats and dogs into everyday lifestyle. Providing a venue for experience and an opportunity to build a bond by creating a closer and more rewarding relationship with their “fur babies” is their aim.
With its unique experiences and premium amenities, the Royal Albatross has created a luxury travel service specifically for cats, dogs, and their owners.
