1. Beji Guwang Hidden Canyon – Indonesia

The Hidden Canyon in Bali, also known as Beji Guwang, is located on the South East side of the island. It’s a bit hard to find and still relatively unknown, but the scenery in the canyon is sure to leave you awestruck, with its enchanting stone walls created by the erosion of rock and water over millions of years, changing color splendidly under the sun. The road to this place is not easy to move, so you must have a guide with you to ensure your safety.

2. Sianok Canyon – Indonesia

If you just want to relax and enjoy the view, a trip to Sianok Gorge might be right for you. Charge your camera and bring binoculars for your tour of Sianok canyon, a meandering gorge with steep cliff walls. On the floor of the canyon you can visit rice paddies and a village, as well as a Japanese bunker embedded in the hillside. There’s not much to do here except look and relax; a small restaurant does offer refreshments and a chance to rent a canoe for a brief river escapade. 

3. Pai Canyon – Thailand

The Pai Canyon (also known as Kong Lan) is an incredibly scenic canyon with stunning valley views and it’s one of the most reputable locations to catch a Pai sunset. Thin, red ridges with sheer drops on either side create the steep, forest-filled valleys of Pai Canyon. Climb the steps to the viewing platform to enjoy sweeping views.

4. Harau Canyon – Indonesia

Harau Canyon is a nature reserve of 300 ha encircled by 100m-high canyon walls,14 km from Payarkumbuh. It is covered with dense rainforest, beautiful waterfalls, and some wildlife that live in the forest, making it an ideal place for both walking and exploring.

5. Sam Phan Bok – Thailand

Sam Pan Bok is a seasonal attraction and also known as the “Grand Canyon of Thailand” and is the biggest rock reef in the Mekong River. Sam Pan Bok is in northeastern Thailand (Isan), on the bank of the Mekong. The holes in the sandstone rocks had developed over millions of years.
