The plane will take off from Suvarnabhumi Airport, Bangkok and travel over 99 sacred sites. Some of them are Wat Arun and Emerald Buddha Temple in Bangkok.

Not only limited to Bangkok, the plane will fly over Phra Samut Chedi in Samut Prakarn, Wat Phra Boromma That Chaiya in Surat Thani and also the UNESCO heritage sites in Sukhothai and Ayutthaya.

 

 

Passengers in the flight will be given Buddhist prayers and special meals. The special feature of the flight is that Dr. Khata Chinbunchon, an expert in religious history and also a famous prophet, will preside over the prayer session.

However, this is not going to be a regular occurrence, the flight will be one-time-only and last for 3 hours. Passengers will fly over 31 of Thailand’s provinces for a peaceful journey.

 

 

Economy class tickets are going for US$193 (THB5,999) while business class tickets will cost US$321 (THB9,999)

Executive vice president for Thai Airways’ commercial operations said that the special flight is a part of a program aimed at bolstering the tourism sector.
