In Thailand, the Amazon Cafe chain has expanded to 1,292 locations. Under the control of PTT, a state-owned oil and gas company in Thailand, 80% of the shops are located at petrol stations, the rest are inside commercial centers.

Established in 2002, up to now, Amazon Cafe has opened more than 3,000 shops around the world, became the largest chain of coffee stations in Southeast Asia and ranked sixth in the world by number of shops it owns.

Cafe Amazon serves latte, iced coffee and drinks similar to Starbucks Coffee, but the price is 20-30% cheaper.

The store is a popular choice for many long-distance drivers in Thailand with many other fast foods such as cakes, biscuits, etc.
