This is a combination of dish and cover, as it works with water to keep everything inside fresh and anything larger than H2O out! Yitu Wang, the designer, doesn’t want to keep the user from eating their delicious fruits though, therefore there is a built in detector that will detect your hand as you approach it.

Even thought it isn’t the most decorative fruit bowl we have seen, such as Wire or Ceramic ones in the Kitchen sections of Walmart or Amazon, but it’s functions are so ideal, the aesthetics seems to be able to be put on the back burner.

All of your favorites are locked into the Water Shade from the freshness and moisture that is kept inside, while keeping out all of the things you don’t want near your beloved fruit, such as flies or dust. But when you decide that you would really enjoy a fresh apple, or maybe some grapes, as soon as your hand gets near, the stream of water stops in said area keeping you dry! What a creative modern design!
